Certified public accountants Dee Studler and Krista Doyle established SDC CPAs in 2001 with a specific focus on providing crime insurance investigation and forensic accounting services for claim adjusters and attorneys. At the time, large forensic accounting firms often failed to prioritize crime insurance, a fact that allowed SDC CPAs to rise to prominence with its approach to crime insurance investigation that precludes “catastrophes such as hurricanes or tax seasons.”
In addition to catering to its clients through direct services and specialized education, SDC CPAs is dedicated to participating in industry matters and sponsoring trade groups in an effort to enhance the training of its staff and management team. The firm maintains active affiliations with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Fidelity Law Association, and both the Tort and Insurance Practice Section and the Surety and Fidelity Law Committee of the American Bar Association. SDC also supports the Kendall County and Aurora animal shelters.
